On July 22, 2019, Tyler Jordan Wingate was driving in the early morning and another vehicle bumped into his car. When Tyler got out and walked into a nearby gas station parking lot, the other driver, Lawrence Davis, punched him and knocked him to the ground. He then searched through Tyler’s pockets. When the 24-year-old Tyler tried to stand up, his attacker continued to assault him until Tyler was lying unconscious. Finally, he kicked Tyler in the head and ran away. Tyler died of blunt force trauma to the head and neck.
