On May 10, 2013, Hunter James Wise was tortured to death by his mother’s boyfriend. While Marcus Johnson was babysitting Hunter, he whipped, punched, and scalded the 3-year-old so badly that he died of “shock due to significant trauma.”
According to Hunter’s father, “Everyone says he’s in a better place. They’re wrong. He should be here in my arms and in my house.”
