On April 11, 2017, Donna Dvonne Todd was found dead and partly decomposed, with a pair of scissors protruding from her body. She had been stabbed and cut at least a dozen times, and also had broken ribs. Forensic evidence linked the 54-year-old’s murder to her neighbor Willie Womble.
