On April 25, 2017, Caleb Michael Lee was severely injured in a crash. Darian Cummings, Brian Booker, and another young teenager were leading police on a high-speed chase in a vehicle they had taken at gunpoint. Darian drove through a red light and hit a car in which Caleb was coming home from Disney World with his little brother and other relatives. The 9-year-old died in the hospital a few days later.
