On March 3, 2017, Samuel David Norman was expecting to meet for a transaction he had arranged online when he was killed. Cicero Smith and an unnamed 15-year-old accomplice said they would sell a remote-controlled drone to Samuel, but instead they tried to rob him. When Samuel resisted, Cicero shot the father of four in the chest.
