On April 9, 2014, John Edward Swoveland Jr. was playing in his front yard when he was hit by a stray bullet. Robert Griffin and several other youths were engaged in a gang-related gunfight when one of Robert’s shots traveled a couple of blocks and struck the 2-year-old in the chest, killing him.
