On April 10, 2008, Meghan Nicole Landowski was attacked by a classmate. Robert Barnes climbed in Meghan’s window and waited for her to come home from school. He bound her arms behind her back, taped her mouth shut, sexually assaulted her, and stabbed her several dozen times. Meghan’s stepfather found the 16-year-old’s body with her pants off, face down in a pool of blood.
