On March 21, 2019, Serge Joseph Fournier was riding a bus home from grocery shopping when he heard another passenger using profanities as she argued with the people around her. Serge told Cadesha Bishop to “be nicer,” so she pushed him out of the bus’s door when it opened, causing the 74-year-old to hit his head on the concrete sidewalk. Cadesha and her young son walked away, and Serge later died of his injuries.
