On April 17, 2014, Anna Mae Eblen was killed in her home. It was Anna’s 71st anniversary, but her husband was in the hospital that day. Taking advantage of the situation, Willie Dumas — whose sister lived next door to Anna — stole $35 from the great-grandmother and slit her throat.
